The AT91SAM9RL-EK is an evaluation kit that enables the evaluation and code development for applications running on an AT91SAM9RL device. AT91SAM9R is ARM926-based microprocessor, running at 190MHz. The peripheral set includes an integrated graphics LCD controller that supports screen resolutions up to 1280x860 with 16M colours and 24bpp and a 10bit ADC that supports 4 wire resistive touch panel. The SAM9RL64 features multiple communication interfaces, such as a HS (480Mbps) USB device, SDIO/SD/MMC interface, AC97, USARTs, SPIs, I2S and I2C. An external bus interface incorporates controllers for SDRAM and static memories, with specific interface circuitry for Compact Flash and NAND flash.

An AT91SAM9RL-EK board, universal input AC/DC power supply with US, UK and Europe plug adapter, one 3V battery backup (CR1225 or equivalent), one A/Btype, USB cable, one serial RS232 cable. The board must not be exposed to electrostatic discharges. A grounding strap or similar protective device should be worn when handling the board.
