The ADS1220EVM is an evaluation system for the ADS1220, a 24bit, multi channel, delta sigma (ΔΣ) analog to digital converter (ADC). The evaluation module uses the ADS1220 along with minimal circuitry to demonstrate functionality for prototyping and part evaluation. The pins of the ADS1220 are accessible through various connections on the ADS1220EVM connectors. The EVM also contains a MSP430 for use with a personal computer. The evaluation module allows for connection to a computer via a USB port. The evaluation module is controlled by the ADCPro evaluation software using a plug in. The software is designed to run with the Microsoft Windows operating system and allows for the complete evaluation of the ADS1220 device..
