The MAX11621EEE+ from Maxim Integrated Products is a 10bit, 8 channel, serial analogue to digital converter (ADC) with FIFO and internal reference in 16 pin QSOP package. This device has on-chip FIFO, scan mode, internal clock mode, internal averaging and AutoShutdown™. The maximum sampling rate is 300Ksps using an external clock and contains 10MHz SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE compatible serial port. The MAX11621 communicates between internal registers and external circuitry through SPI /QSPI compatible serial interface. It is used in system supervision, industrial control systems, patient monitoring, data acquisition, instrumentation systems and data logging.
